My Story Continues
Mar 19, 2008
It is week 6 in my journey and I am feeling better. I have lost 24 pounds so far and can move around easier and feel my energy changing. I will begin adding meal replacements into my daily routine for convenience and added nutrition. I also started light housework in short periods for increased activity. I got a magic bullet blender this weekend and think it will be a good tool in my journey.

Beginning of my Journey
Feb 07, 2008
Once upon a time . . . Oh, that is another story. I am 40 years old and married to a wonderful man who is the center of my universe. We live on the west coast of Florida with our adorable rescued furkids, a chihuahua and a tabby. I have been obese most of my life and knows the struggle of a "yo-yo" lifestyle with weight loss and regain plus more. My medical issues are bipolar disorder, fibromyalgia, arthritis, sleep apnea, morbid obesity. Recently, my primary physician says I will be diabetic in six months and suggested the Lapband system as an option. That day was the beginning in my journey for a new lifestyle and a new me. I have since began to lose weight. My start weight was 453 pounds. I could hardly walk and managed to get to the bathroom or to the car to go to the doctor appointments or visit my family nearby. Since the weight loss began, I am moving around the house more and it feels good. I am proud of my progress so far. I read all I can about the Lapband system and I read several OH forums daily. I have learned alot and applied some good tips to my own weight loss. I weigh each Friday morning and post the weight to my OH page. If you would like a weight loss buddy or friend, please add me.
