surgery date!!!

I was beginning to think I would never get that call from Dr. Duffy's at Yale. Guess what? They called this morning!!!I am psyched!! I have been reading all of the blogs and before and after pix and am ready to embrace this change.
The surgery date is a few days before my 56 birthday so it will really be a rebirth for me. Just think by next summer I could be living life! I do tend to isolate myself when I don't feel good about myself.
Gotta go for a walk in between rain showers!! There will be a new hopeful bounce in my step today!
My 30 min. walk was good. I beat the rain.
Now the unusual thing about Yale is that they give you a surgery date and then they go to my insurance, which is anthem bc state preferred pos. The nurse at yale said no news is good news and that I will probably hear from bc before Yale. Oh brother....another wait....I will try and be positive since the surgery is covered by my insurance and since I went to the info session it means that you are pretty much a sure thing.
