Well it has been 2 months since mym rny and I and I am happy to say it has been smooth sailing except for the scrambled egg incident at day 17. I had just been started on soft foods the day before and made 2 scr. eggs for dinner. Well...I guess I didn't believe the full signal and ate too much(actually just 1 of the eggs) and let me tell you I was up almost all night feeling like crap...it felt like I had a rock in my little stomach. I drank some liquid and my pm meds and tried to go to bed. I was having wicked hiccups and discomfort that I know puking would help but I have never been able to make myself do it. Finally at 2:30 I did and got relief and finally slept until 5:30 when I woke up feeling sick again and I threw up at 6am. All this made me nervous and I phoned the on call surgeon who said to see if I could keep some clear fluid down and if n ot then I should call the office and come to be checked. Well I was able to drink water and stayed on liquid the rest of the day.After that incident I have been more careful and all has been well. I have lost 40 lbs and am doing great. My 2 mo. check was great!
