Well gang, I have all of my pre-op stuff done on Monday 4/11/05. My surgery is scheduled for next Monday 4/18/05. I lost 5lbs but don't know how. My first visit to the weight loss clinic I weighed 287 and now I am 282. Go figure. I will post again after my surgery. Until then C YA!!!!!!

~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. WOW!!!! I can't believe it. Not even a month into inquiring about this surgery and I have been approved and a surgery date has been set. I'm getting a little nervous but I guess that is to be expected.

Hello, My name is Anjail. I'm 29 years olds and weigh 287 pounds 5' 8 1/2". I found out about this surgery from a lady that I work with and started inquiring about it. 2/23/05 Was the day I went to see if I qualified for the surgery. Well needless to say I qualified and the only requirements the doctor had was for me to get a clearance from my PCP. 3/2/05 Today I had my Physical from my PCP and I met with the Psychologist. Everything went well and I hope I passed the psychological test. 3/7/05 Found out I passed the Psych test and received the medical clearance from my PCP. Also went to a support group meeting to meet with people whom have had the procedure and people who are hoping to have it done like myself. Trust me, anybody looking to have this surgery should attend a meeting. 3/11/05 Letter was submitted to M-Care for the approval of the surgery. 3/14/05 YEAAAAAHHHHHHH. I'm APPROVED and should have a surgery date set soon. 3/15/05 Received a call from the Center for Comprehensive Weight Loss wanting to set a date. My surgery date is set for APRIL 18, 2005. I start all of my pre-op stuff on APRIL 11, 2005.
