I'm now a "post-op." Everything went wonderfully, PTL! I'll update in a day or two when I'm back home. Right now I'm staying with my mom recuperating and she doesn't have a computer. But just a quick note--I had surgery on Tuesday and was released from the hospital on Saturday. I go back to the doctor next Monday to have my staples taken out and I'll find out how much weight I've lost. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you all for your prayers of support! I firmly believe that your prayers of support helped me to have a complication-free surgery. I'm recovering quickly and already feeling so good! God bless you all!

Just visited with Brenda this afternoon. The upper GI this morning was a horrible experience but the good news is NO LEAKS! So the doctor is letting her have clear liquids now. Her pain is in control and she is up walking the halls. She thinks she will be discharged friday or saturday. Everything is going well!

9/06/01 10:30 AM Praise God for Brenda's post-op status. I talked with her mother this morning. She was very sleepy yesterday, but better this am. She's having an upper GI this am before starting liquids by mouth. Her mom said she'd welcome phone calls, so her room is 6014 and her phone # is (208)381-3614. Let's all keep her in our thoughts and prayers for a rapid recovery.<>< Diane Bailey

Brenda, I am so very happy and excited for you. As a prayer warrior I shall not take the task of praying for you lightly. I will be on my knees tomorrow and praying that God guides you surgeon's hands and that you have a safe, sucessful surgery. I will aslo pray for a speedy and complete recovery for you.
