Pre-op diet starts today

My surgery isn't until March 24th but i decided to start my pre op liquid diet WAY early!!! i was supposed to start it on the 8th of march but i wanted to get a head start on weight loss considering summer is coming and id like to feel comfortable in a 2 piece by July lol... I spoke with my doctor and he said that is perfectly safe as long as i am getting all the protein and taking multivitamins. I did about half a day of the liquid diet yesterday and was considering backing out of it and just doing the 2 weeks but when i ate i felt so gross!!! I decided that i am going to commit to it and get it done. As of last week i was 278 and as of last night i am 262 i haven't seen that # in over a year!!! i am so excited to not be the fatty tall girl!!!I am making many changes in my life starting with surgery in march i am moving to New Mexico the last weekend in April, and i am starting classes at UNM in May. I completely changed my major from business to Portuguese (totally worthless unless paired with a masters) and once I'm done in like a year i am applying for the med school for the masters program to be physicians assistant!!!! Couldn't be more excited... When i move to NM i am moving in with my boyfriend which is a huge step for me!
