Surgery Scheduled!

Well, I have had my last test and my surgery is now scheduled. April 14, 7 days after my 55th birthday. I am so excited this is a new adventure for me. It seems in the past few years I have been on several adventures. This is just another one.

Well, my meeting with the Dietician went very well. We went by Dr Blacks to drop off my psych eval but they were out to lunch so we will do that Thursday went we are back in Anniston and schedule that last test I have to have. Only a week and half left of Therapy I think then I can have my surgery. I'm getting both nervous and excited.

Getting Closer

Finally, I am getting close to having my surgery. Had first meeting with the Doctor, Shoulder surgery (in Therapy now), had my psychiatric evaluation. I go next Tuesday to meet with the nutritionist. After that I only have one more test to do, finish my therapy for my shoulder and schedule the surgery. I am so excited! This will be a great change for me, now I kinda wish I had kept all the old clothes we got rid of a few years back..lol. But that's okay my hubby says I can have new clothes....yippee. Not to mention not having to contend with bladder problems. There are so many pluses to this procedure. I'll keep everyone posted!
