Day three

Well i thought today was going to be very hard for me....it is day three of my Optifast  and I had a 50th wedding anniversary open house and dinner to attend......with all the food around..i thought for sure i would mess up....but i survived....i took my water and crystal light to drink  and my Optifast for dinner....sure i sat and smelt all the delicious food..and seen it alll....but I was really good..and did not eat a single thing..I did have lots of help from family..helping with getting food for my younger kids..and cutting it up for them....cause i know  if i was to do that...i would of put a piece of something in my mouth.....my hardst party would of been the cake..cause i am one that really enjoys cake..not just one or 2 pieces...but i would keep going back and nibbling....way to much....and today...not one bite.......i stayed away from the food tables all together.....and when they brought the chocolate fountain out with all the goodies to run thru it...i looked at it from a distance...LOL>..i am very proud of myself for being able to do this...i know i still have 14 days till surgery...and i am sure i will have a hard day or 2...but it is something i have to do...so i will do it.....

oh tomorrow will be another challenge.....we are going to the Mandarin for lunch....Optifast and crystal lite will be in hand and ready to help me thru....
