omg! i was feeling so out of it earlier. i felt weak then hot flash with sweats & slow.  I then remembered when i waspreggo with #4 4 yrs ago, i had gestational diabetis. so i got my kit out & checked my sugar level. 59...uhh low so i drank juice drank a high protien shake & had some cheese too. took a 45 min nap then checked again & it was 86.  after my friends made dinner & i had some. an hr later 122. holy cow! so i never had a glycemic issue before. i will let my dr know tomorrow. at least i now know what that feels likje. i had been eating breakfast /lunch... so i dont know why that occured... wierd!! down to 180 now for some time. my skin is starting to shrink up too i noticed. yeah!! a size 14 now, in the misses section!

Iron Levels...

So my Iron level was: 6 . just did blood work again & now I checked messages, Dr says still low & needed me to call them. Of course being Sunday, their closed. So I'm now thinkn they are gonna go with an Iron transfusion...Anyone did this?? give me input please!! ~B

 my iron levels are critically low:6 norm is 32-36 i think. wow i am concerned. i thought i was doing ok when i was doubling up on my iron but just found out no real change. so i have a feeling doc will want to do an iron transfusion.. let that be simpler than it sounds LORD! Feel alright, weight 193lbs, & eating good. taking supps everyday too. Well Monday morn will be calln doc to arrange what ever they think i need to do.~Billie

Jumping for Joy!!

Jumping for Joy!! I hit under the 200lb mark!!!!!!!!! I am 198 as of June 30th, 2010. I havent seen this weight in years!! I even had soeone from work start talking to me today & thought I was the "new girl" hehe! He paused & said OMG, you look great i almost didnt recognize you!! I felt so good! On a health note the second oscopy showed the intestinal ulcer shrank from22mm to 5mm. So everything healing nicely no more bleeding ulcer(THANK GOD ABOVE, AMEN!), So far that has been the only side effect I have had from this surgery. I pay close attention to how I feel & make sure the"outputs #1 & #2" looks normal too. TAKE THOSE VITAMINS!! I slipped up & my iron went to 6 from 32 in only a few weeks & so not worth it. just take the stinkin vittals(vitamins). But over all I am on track & not slack'n with nutrition & I am feeln great!~Bj

Hitting a slump

Hitting a slump! I notice the weight isnt coming off as fast now!! I am 210 now. still loosing but slowed dramatically. was hoping to slide down a slippery slope of weight loss. realistic -no hopefull--always!!
My poo issue resolved, with oral meltable prevacid. I do another scope end of june. That whole thing was weird but I am dealing. feeling good haveing to reorder new uniforms again!! So weight loss slowed but still lossing inches! So I am still feeling great. Keep ya posted!~B

woooow horsey!!

 Woooow Horsey! well i am down to 218 which is great but i got my first throw back, black pooh! ug! so for the past three days i have had black pooh, after the first day I called My DR. ASAP & went in vitals good, crit 32(on low side of normal), no pain, so was told to do prilosec in case of ulcer & come back friday for crit check. so day 2 & icky pooh they said come for endoscopy (yeah). I woke up from it today & they say they see ulcer in small intestine below surgical site from WLS.  So im wondering how the hell that happened never had before. I think they took biopsy for lab. so now im upset cause i knew someone who died from a GI bleed 4-5 months after surgery. im also 4-5 months out. So im trying not to be upset but HELLO I AM!!! I guess we will see....

Well on my way to the weight I desire. I am excited to get into an 18!!! yippee!!! I do notice some stores clothing lines run bigger & some smaller. I am not so keen on the skin issue, I have got to find some cardio thing I can stick with. My neck, underarms, tummy & thighs bother me. I know its only been 3 months but it is gross to me. So with that I am looking around at some ideas for excersising.~B

stress!!

 Stress!! Can really do a number on a WLS person. Im seriously having teen issues with one of my kids and it is really affecting my health. I dont eat  or remember my vitamins cause my mind is preoccupied with my situation. Depression has set in & im dealing with it but I dont think this resolve soon-So I am having problems with nutrition. Down to 232 but not in as healthy manner as i would like. My labs say a bit low in iron but otherwise ok. so I do need to take the vittles!~Billie

**UNBELIEVABLE**

This journey has been unbelievable! I dont have a scale but I know I have lost more since my last tracker update. Absolutely none of my clothes fit. I have been resorting to buying a new outfit each payday (every 2 weeks) to have for when im off on the weekends. I have been resorting to buying pants with elastic waist & gettn them a touch snug so they last a bit longer during my weight loss. Of course a new top to boot. I am gonna have to find a scale today the curiousity is gettn me. I do somewhat fear my 3 month check up this week as I have not been faithfully taking my vitamins & so on.... So i predict my levels will be low. I am so lazy- i still have not added a repeatitive excercise program. I can see the side effect of that- loose skin, that irratates me as equally as being fat to begin with. It's  just so unsightly to me. I still feel good & energetic so I am just shooting for eating well as the nutritionist says and see where we are there.~B

 I cant believe it, I have lost a smidge over 30% of what I'd like to lose. I've lost 63 pounds of body fat so far.  I have adjusted to eating meals and I recognize I need to work on my vitamin levels- meaning take the pills!! Over all I did really well. I am proud of myself, this is a huge accomplishment in my life now. I recognize too that i need to implement a permanent form of cardio activities in my life too. So far , with exercise, I have minimally plugged in more movement. Like with my job- i am a bus driver- sat on my but all day turning a steering wheel. So i changed my position to a shuttle driver in which I service senior & disabled. This simple change allows my position to get in & out of the Van all day. I have to escort each person to & from their stops so I am getting in & out of my van on the average of 80 times or more per 8 hour shift. But i do need to move continuously for 30-45 min each day-ya know get the heart rate up for a solid block of time. I also would like to implement something for this "flab" that is replacing the weight loss. how do you make skin shrink?? guess i need to make a tummy fund...~B
