Missy, It won't be long now...and nobody is happier for you than me, because you have been more than a friend, you have been an encourager and an inspiration. God has used you to brighten what I thought were the darkest of days...and I appreciate you. Your kindness hasn't gone unnoticed in the Heavenlies and I know that God will be with you through the whole process and that you will be one of those "miracle" recoveries that we read about!! Keep His peace as your pillow, and His joy as your strength....Love you bunches!!!

Melissa, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. I'm wishing you a safe, complication free surgery and a quick recovery. God bless you as you start your new life as a healthier person. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and am so glad I did. Its the best thing I could have done for myself. Good luck!

Hi Melissa, I saw you on the list of people for March surgeries. I am scheduled for surgery March 26th, 3 days after my birthday. I am also the mother of 3. I have Two daughters and a son. I was born and raised in Upstate NY in the Binghamton area. I just moved to Maryland about 4 years ago. Good luck on your surgery. Let me know how you are doing.
