"Dr Weaver was very confident when I met him. Not like a lot of surgeons that are so arrogant/cocky your not sure they are listening. He answered all my questions and I had a lot of them. I asked for the sleeve and he said after reading my medical information he thought I should get RNY. I had GERD and the sleeve makes that worse in some instances. He told me that with the amount of weight I want to lose and my health problems (diabetes, high BP etc.) that I could probably get off most of my meds, he also told me I had a Hiatal hernia and he would fix that when he was in there. So after doing all the required work I got my surgery date. October 6, 2014. I saw Dr Weaver everyday in the hospital and at ten days out. He and his staff have been very good to me. I have now lost 25% of my weight and I am only 3 and a half weeks out. I really haven't had any problems/emergency since surgery that I needed to call the office for help, so I can't speak about that.
