what a weekend!

Well what a long weekend this has been. I have eaten pretty poorly but at least I have had a lot of exercise to make up for it! I plan on taking tomorrow and the rest of the week to work on getting my calories down and food choices better. It’s not been pretty. I can only guess on some food items since they don’t all have a accurate calorie and nutrient count. I have been much happier even though my intake has not been so great. I am really beginning to notice how my eating and drinking better has made a difference! Oh and not lets forget the drop in medications. That is a great one.

Saturday I went shopping with Paul in the morning, and rode the motorcycle up to Loveland for my nephews birthday party/ family picnic. We nearly got killed going up by a jerk in a pickup truck that didn’t feel it was necessary for him to look before merging into our lane and then ignored our bike horn. I was nearly to the point physically hitting the front driver panel when Paul accelerated and got past him before he hit us. If anger burns more calories than I am fine for the day!

Calories- 1480
Fat – 55.5
Carbs.- 162.9 (eeekkk)
protein- 48.4 (double eeek)

Sunday- Spent the morning shopping with Paul. When to the grocery store and spent nearly twice the time I normally do reading labels- Paul was amazingly patient. I had a hard day with him and Sarah at one point. I really felt based on what they were both saying about my eating, that neither of them was supporting my desire to lose weight. I got really down and just gave up for a bit there. But after a long talk with my hubby I understood what he was trying to do and he understood what I needed. It got much better and the rest of the day and today it has been much better.

Protein – 83.2

And today! Well it has been a really physically active one today. I started out the day cutting grass and pretty  much kept up a similar level of activity with the exception of a motorcycle ride. That was only about 45 minutes. Otherwise I have been a very busy person. Got a lot done, but have much more to do still. My to do list this week is longer than the hours in the day. My daughter Becca took the baby today for the afternoon and night. I miss her terribly but have been able to get so much done it has been wonderful. I don’t feel as bad for my meal totals today since I have been very physical. The one thing this weekend I have done is drink much more soda than I normally do. I tend to switch to soda when we ride the bike since if I don’t we have to stop much more often since I have to pee. Believe me, needing to pee (especially if it is really bad) is not a fun experience on a motorcycle. I spent much more time today upping my water and crystal light thought. And tomorrow will be back to normal. I stopped buying soda for myself here at the house, so it is easier to go back to water when I am at home.

Tomorrow I am going to start logging what I drink too. There isn’t any place on Fitday to do it but I can track it separately. Not so sure how good I will get but I want to try and track it.
