Caroline, Just wanted to say that I am sorry you experienced a hateful person yesterday. Been there before, and felt what you are feeling. It hurts! This surgery is a wonderful thing, and we are losing and hopefully we won't ever have to go thru these feelings again. I am glad that I have caring kids, and raised them to treat others better. Hugs!

Caroline, I am so sorry you has that horrible experience. I'm sure you have been through the whole lost of emotions. I find it comforting to think of people like that as so hurt and distraught that they can do nothing except try to hurt others. Their pain is so intense that even admitting to it would be their extinction. Does it make it right? OF COURSE NOT! But it puts inperspective what might cause anoteher to be so cruel. So, in short, sweetness, feel sorry for her. She may never know the joys and successes you know. oxoxoxoMarcy

Hi Caroline, I truly enjoyed talking to you and I feel like I have a friend in you. Your site brought tears to my eyes and was so inspirational. I sat here and cried while reading it. Your life will be great since you have wonderful support and especially a wonderful husband. I have never been choked up about reading anyones story but your journey thru this all has really touched my heart. I wish you nothing but good luck in your weight loss and I know inside of myself that you will do it and your life will be nothing short of heavenly. Hi everyone! Just wanting to say a big "hi!" *waves at computer screen* <br> <br> Things here are going well! The last week was spent losing nothing but it looks like the scale MAY be moving again :) As of this morning, I am down 86 lbs :) (in 4 1/2 months) <br> <br> Alan and I got our home equity loan today and so we will be able to pay off his mom's house in PA and pay for the restoration of the house now :) We're being told that it will take about 4 to 6 months to restore the house. It is such a great feeling to know that our move from CA to PA is really going to happen! <br> <br> Sending many many hugs to everyone and prayers and best wishes to everyone having surgery soon! For those still battling their insurance, keep fighting! Just wanted to thank you for such a nice reply to my message. I also read your very interesting web site with your day by day journey. Its been tough but your doing what I plan to do on Sept. 18th. Caroline -- I just was going back throught the posts on the board and saw the one you wrote to me! Thank you! My daughter is still sick, but nothing too serious; I'm just glad we decided against going. (It's so hard to know with a 4-year-old if they're really SICK-sick or not!) You seem like such a sweet person... I wa sorry to not get to meet you & the others in Dana Point on Saturday. I don't think I can make the one in Vista on the 20th, but hopefully there'll be another luncheon very soon after. Oh, and the pictures turned out great! Everyone looked SO friendly and warm. I really look forward to meeting you in person soon!
