Sierra, Hey girl just wantedd to drop you a little note to tell you that I am here for you if you need anything. I too have to go through the six month diet and I know how it feels... the waiting game is no fun but look at it like this. Take the time to get your body mind and soul in the best shape possible for surgery. Watch what you eat, exercise, drink your water, journal, and do what makes you happy. It's like having a six month good bye party to the old you. The six months will be over before you know it and you will be healthy and ready. If you ever want to talk email me I'll be here. Good luck with your diet. I know that the time looking forward seem very long and insurmountable. From my perspective it was all worth it. I believe that you will be very happy with your decision to start the weight loss surgery journey. To get your life back and being able to do anything you want with no physical road caused by your physical size to stop you. The time goes so quick before you know it you’ll have a date and then in the hospital. Keep your chin up. Hi Sierra, welcome to OH and this is a long process but just believe that in the end it will all be worth it. It took me a while to see it and I am finally glad that I have made the choice to have WLS and although I am a week away from my surgery date, I am excited and happy. It's all worth it. Your time will come before you know it. Wishing you the best of luck and tons of strength to get you through this time and there may be times when you feel like giving up but remember that God is on your side and He is going to bring you through it.

Sierra, I had to do the 6 month Doctor suppervised diet too...time flew and I used the time to get used to drinking the 64+ ozs of water that we have to drink and learned to drink protein drinks. I used the time as a way to learn what I was getting ready to live. It'll go by faster than you think and just keep researching and learning more and more each day. Hugs to you. Susan
