OMG, I kne this wouldnt be easy but I didnt think it would be so hard either.  I've been on diets somewhat similar to this and I won't say that they are a piece of cake but it wasn't very hard to do.  This time around the first two days of this diet has really been hard.  I'm trying to maintain because I have no other choice I have to do this for myself anf my health but its really hard.  I commend those that have gone before me because I definitely know how hard things can be.

I have been approved and been scheduled a date.  Thank the lord the insurance wait is finally over.  I was so scared its like the worse time out of all the waiting because you know they hold your fate in their hands.  I must say out of this experience I have come across some great people whom I've become close to and I couldnt do it without them.

All documents and evaluations have been submitted to Ellen to be submitted to insurance.  So, now we play the waiting game to see how long it takes the insurance to come back with their approval and they better come back with one.  I'm really excited and can't wait to find out the outcome but not so much as I will be when they give me a date.  Then the day of my surgery date I will be so excited too.  I'm just really excited to be making this change so I can take control of my life again.  Plus along the way I've met some really nice people and i hope we can remain friends because I definitely need some.   Any way I will definitely keep you guys update on how things go. 

Hey guys well today I had my last appointment.  I got my test results and my 5 year weight history from my PCP and I faxed them over to the insurance coordinator.  So, now I'm just waiting on her to get them and then submit to my insurance.  I am so nervous it crazy.  I was kind of concern about my 5 year weight history though cause all she gave me was a graph that had my weight on one axis and the date on another.  So hopefully that will work for them and they dont ask for more information.  Well, you know I will keep you posted with how things go so be praying for that speedy approval.

Tomorrow I have my last evaluation which will be my nutrition evaluation.  I'm really excited after that I go see my PCP and get my lab work result and my 5 year weight history letter and I'll be done.  I'm a tad bit concerned though because Dr. Husted is my doctor and all the talk about the problems he's having with his hospital but I'm trying to be positive.  I live i GA and I dont want to go too far away from home.  I also have a back up though I have an appt with Dr. Houston just in case things dont work out with Dr. Husted.  My appointment with my PCP is on Tuesday the 29th so I hope to have everything to Ellen by that Wedsnesday and hopefully she can get it sent out that first week in October.  I really want to have it done before the end of the year so I dont have to start over with my deductible and out of pocket max.  So hopefully I'll know something by the end of October.  Then with all the appointments with Dr. Husted being cancelled he might have a long wait list.  Either way I am being optimistic because this something I truly believe in and I know it will come if its meant to be.

Well I've been through my psychological evfaluation and I'm sane  no doubts there.  So now the next one is the nutritional evaluation and I have an appointment for that on Monday the 21st of September.  I am so exciting and ready to have this surgery.  I cant wait to start my life over and be reborn.  I cant wait to be full of energy and capable of really working out without pain associated.  Being on Obesity Help is a blessing and I really dont think I would be where I am without you guys.
