Surgery just around the corner

I've done well with the liquids pre-op and have lost 1-1.5# daily since I started it. What has been hard has been going without my ibuprofen for arthritic pain. Makes it hard to want to exercise when all you do it hurt. It has made me appreciate the simple things in life...IBUPROFEN!! LOL! Anyway, surgery is Tues., and it is now Sunday night. I have preop appts tomorrow which will keep me busy. I'm excited!

Surgery is getting close!

Today is May 13, my surgery is scheduled for May 24. I start my liquids tomorrow. I'm having the Vertical Sleeve...soooo excited for the new changes in my life. I turned 50 last year and have been fat for 45 of those years. I have yo-yo'd all those years as well, but never could keep it off. I feel a little naughty because I started at 240#, I've managed to get down to 215# pre-op...not the big numbers as some, but now I've got the comorbidities to go along with it. Too bad...I'm going for it. I know me and I know how I like to eat.
