"At first when I met Dr. Nusbaum I was concerned because his office was kind of empty and his staff did not seem like they were busy. Little did I know I just came on a slow day. The doc sat down and spent almost an hour with me talking with me about the procedure and my many different options. Not only was his office kind and warm but they were PUNCTUAL! I had visited another local doctor's office and he made me wait over 2 hours. Before leaving that first day Dr. Nusbaum had made sure I met with the nutritionist Karla and the insurance lady Wonda. Both of whom were extremely eager to get me started. I didn't have to wait and I felt like my time was valued. The staff is more than willing to work with you and fight for you as well. My insurance company makes you face the 6 month weight loss period but after Wonda got done with them, I was approved after 5 months. It was wonderful to have everyone in the doctors office just as excited for me as I was. Even after I got approved, Karla still called to see how I was feeling.
The surgery is one day. You see the surgeon, he does his thing, and your done. But, his office is what sticks with you forever! I am so pleased with my decision to go with Dr. Nusbaum and I wouldn't chose anyone else!"
