THINGS ARE GOING GREAT

Things are going great. I have been working out at Anytime Fitness since October and I am really enjoying my time in the gym. I am very excited about the fact that  I can work out anf do things that i could not when i first joined the gym. It is really nice to do those things without giving out of breath. It is truly amazing.

Finally joined a gym

Well I finally did I joined a gym and I am actually excited about it. I meet with my personal trainer and I am very sore but I also feel really good about the workout. He is really understanding about my concerns with working out so intensely with my lapband because I still baby my port. I am really excited about seeing what kind of progress we can make at toning my body up along with helping lose some more of the weight without having to go in for a fill. It has been 5 months since my last fill and I feel really good about my prgress.

keep on moving

Today has been a hard day but I am going to stay focused on what is important and that is that I maintain my vision of how I see my self once I have lost all the weight. I have to realize that there will be days when I may not get to excerise and I have to not beat myself up for that. I will just have to make arrangements so that I can workout the next day.

staying on track

walked 2.5 miles tonight and it took me about 40 minutes and i worked up a good sweat. I felt so ggod once i had finished my walk. I had a protein shake for dinner and i am making sure that i am taking in enough fluid each day and that i am taking my vitamins as i should. I have lost a total of 9 pounds so far to reach my 10 pound goal. I am going by the center to weigh in tomorrow so i will update tomorrow

continuing the journey

The weekend has been very hard for me. I am not sure why though but it seems like I am hungryer than normal. But I am not letting this get me down because I know that I can overcome this by staying the course and not letting a setback of one day get me down but I will be more determined to see this through until I hit my goal that I set by September 15th. I have 2 more pounds to lose and I will have lost the 10 pounds that I set as a goal to lose the weight by the 15th of September..I will keep you updated as we go along this journey.

continuing on the track

Walked 2.5 miles tonight and have walked 2.5 miles for the last 4 nights. It usually takes me about 40 minutes to finish this and i feel so good when I am done. I have been working up a good sweat while doing this. I believe that my body is actually looking forward to the walking and that is a good thing.
I am going in to the center to weigh for the week. I am actually going in once a week just to weigh in and to track my progress.
I am very excited about getting my weight loss back on track.

getting back on track

I have been working very hard to jump start my weight loss. I am 18 months post op and for the last 4 months it have gained back 10 pounds. With the help of my support group and the guidance from the director of the center. I have managed to lose 9 of the pounds that I gained back in 2 weeks. I have increased my walking up to 2.5 miles 4 times a week. I walked this evening and I have added 10 pounds in ankle weights and 4 pounds in hand weight to help with some resistance. I feel real good this evening. I had a meal replacement shake for dinner and I am actively track all my fluid intake to make sure that I get enough fluid everyday. Just do not want to give up because I have worked to hard to come this far not to succeed.
Things are looking up.
