Premier Protein Strawberries & Cream Shake

"I love strawberries, and Premier Protein Strawberries & Cream shake tastes great. I have five basic shake flavors: vanilla, eggnog, chocolate, hazelnut coffee and Premier Protein Strawberries & Cream. The other flavors I make myself, because I use Dark Cocoa for the chocolate one, and I brew my own coffee for the hazelnut, and vanilla is always in my cupboard but Premier Protein Strawberries & Cream is the only RTD (ready to drink) protein shake that I buy. Not because I couldn't make it from scratch... but because it tastes like I did! I put the carton in the freezer, so it gets extra-cold, and when it sounds like a slushee when I shake it, it's time to open it up and ...drift into Strawberries & Cream bliss!!! It's a great flavor for the summer, and it helps me easily meet the higher daily protein requirements for my bariatric surgery, the Duodenal Switch. In my humble opinion, it is the perfect shake for DSers, with 30 grams of protein per shake. "

Margaret Inman

"Dr. Margaret Inman made it possible for me to not only lose 257 pounds from my highest weight of 405, but also made it possible for me to eat like a normal person for the first time in my life! I started out with a different surgeon, closer to home, but he died before I had my surgery. I was just about to get set up for a RNY, which I did not want, and I found Dr. Inman. I got my miracle Duodenal Switch on February 25th, 2009, and with it, a chance for a healthier, happier life. Dr. Inman is a compassionate, but no-nonsense surgeon. She will give it to you straight, no chaser! She makes sure you are fully aware that your surgery is life-changing, and can and will "let you have it" if you do a major screw up with your post-op care. I haven't experienced that first-hand, but I know other patients who have, and got it with both barrels! I feel blessed to have found her, and I wouldn't have gone anywhere else for my DS!"

Ascension St. Vincent - Carmel Bariatrics

"In my opinion, St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence is the model of what every hospital with a bariatric surgery program should be. The staff is caring and responsive, and seem to be genuinely interested in making recovery from whichever bariatric surgery you have had as smooth as it can be, and making sure you have the tools to succeed in your post-op live. Though I haven't experienced other bariatric programs, I would have to say that St. Vincent's has one of the top programs in the country, and I have not had one regret since having my Duodenal Switch there with Dr. Margaret Inman five years ago. At the time, she was not doing Lap DS on patients with a BMI over 50, which mine was, so I had an Open DS. The recovery went smoothly, and the one issue I had, not being able to eat well early out, was easily solved with gentle stretching of my new sleeve stomach. I've been eating like a champ ever since. I lost an initial total of 237 pounds, down to 168 from 405, and am currently - and nearly effotlessly- maintaining my weight at 171. "
