"I went to a seminar that Dr. Moran hosted in September 2007. I was immediately interested in pursuing the Lap-Band procedure and began checking with insurance to see if it would be covered. Dr. Moran was very honest about the surgery and gives the facts without sugarcoating. To me this is a life changing miracle but I believe he doesn't want others to think it's a short time fix and he stresses that in his seminar for lap-band. Dr. Moran's office was GREAT. The entire staff is helpful and on top of your case from the minute you walk in the door. They submitted all the paperwork to Aetna, called when I was approved and did all the setup for my surgery that took place on 1/16/08. I was able to go to Rex Hospital in Raleigh and everything went perfect the day of surgery. No complaints!"
