"Very knowledgeable and experienced. At the seminar, he gave good info and didn't push one particular surgery. Low-key. Nice. I liked the staff during my first visit--friendly and encouraging. rnI am even more impressed with Dr. Spaw post-op than I was pre-op. I had some minor complications post-op, and he was very caring and concerned about it. We got to talking about why he got into bariatrics, and he said it was because he could really see the positive difference he made in patients' lives. Even though he's been at this a while, he still likes learning new things, as he has with me as one of his few Type 1 diabetic patients."
