I just heard from a lady at the surgeons office and she said she is sending my information over to the scheduler for my surgery! She said I should hear from the scheduler lady in about 10 working days. She also said Leport is scheduling out for July/August. This is so perfect. That was about the time I wanted to get this surgery. Everything is falling into place and I could not be happier! Next post should be with a surgery date!

I am approved!!!!!!!!!  Icalled the insurance company today and was told I was approved this afternoon! It only took them only 3 days to approve me. I am soooo very happy and completly excited that I was approved to take this journey. I now have to wait for the scheduler to call me to set a date. I can be patient for that. The hard part is over. I am ready to start the next phase of my life and like I told everyone when I turned 30, things will be different than they were when I was in my 20's. My life is about to change for the better and I am soooo ready. Look out cause here I come!

I couldn't  be patient! I called the insurance company yesterday and I was told that it is still pending and that I should definatly know something by 5/23/2008. The lady I spoke with said I can call at the end of the day today as it is a possiblity that the MD who reviews the referrals may look at it today. I'm gonna call before 5pm. Hopefully it's good news! Will post when I know more.

I spoke with Aisha at Dr. Leport's office today and she said she faxed the paperwork to the insurance company today! Now I wait...... And wait..... And wait.  Hopefully it will move quickly. I am so anxious!

I have completed all my necessary appointments in order to have my paperwork submitted to the insurance company. Yesterday I went to the psychologist and he stated I passed! (I was soooo worried) ! I spoke with the insurance coordinator at the Center of Obesity in Fountain Valley and she stated as soon as she gets the letter from the psyhologist, she would send the paperwork over..... She states the wait can be anywhere between 3-4 weeks...... That seems soooo very long but I have waited this long, I can continue to wait. I am praying that all works out according to His will and I have put all of this in His hands. I am so very anxious but I will be patient and will try not to call the insurance company to see if there has been a decision. (Hey... Memorial Healthcare IPA states it will only take 3-5 days so there's no telling if my fingers will dial their number if I don't hear anything after 2 weeks)! I will try to keep myself busy and not worry myself to death because what good can worrying do if I cannot change anything? I have done all I can now I just wait.
