Update on 11/13/13: Today is my one-year surgiversary! Oh Happy Day! What a difference a year makes. I am so grateful for all of the amazing things in my life. Although I am still obese and have another 60-80 pounds to lose, I AM HEALTHY, I am active, and I am actually living life and not just existing. My surgery has given me a second chance to live. I am often moved to tears on a daily basis when I think about my progress over the past year. I hope I can be an example to anyone else who may be struggling with their weight or who is just beginning their WLS journey. Life is good!

Hi! My name is Kim. I live in northern Virginia with my awesome hubby and shelter pup. I'm about 6 weeks post-op. I had RNY surgery on 11/13/12 with Dr. Moazzez. I'm still too ashamed of myself to put my photo in my avatar or to upload a weight tracker. Maybe someday. I've been so encouraged and inspired by the people here on OH. I hope to be a success story soon.
