Great Wolf Getaway

So for Christmast my in-laws gave my hubby and I a gift certificate for Great Wolf Lodge - A fat girl's nightmare!!  My immediate reaction was can we wait until after my surgery?  I can't go looking the way I do!  How selfish am I?  I have 2 little girls who would just love to go, and hubby was really excited too! 

So anyway my hubby had this whole week off and it was his birthday Tues and he thought I would be a nice winter getaway for our family.  So I booked our vacation and made sure the doggie nanny was availble to watch my furry babies for Jan 26th which is hubby's bday.  We pack up and away we went I did  A LOT of self talking on the way there trying to prepare myself for what I was certain was going to be a tense vacation.  I bought a new bathing suit and cover up so at least I could feel good about what I had on even if I didn't feel good about myself.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be I really just focused on my family and how much fun my kids were having 3 & 5 are such great ages!  I also just kept thinking about how next year when we go I will be in a much better place about myself confidence and image!!!!!
