Soooo I am breaking my pledge....

ok, had to do it.  Tons of stuff going on and I need to document it.  What if something happens to me or I want to remember the "good ole" days? 

So, here's the deal:  Today was my 5th CONSECUTIVE appointment.  If we were really going to count it right then today would be 9 months of a supervised diet.  I could have had a baby by now.  Anyway, I just found out yesterday that our benefits in 2011 are radically going to change and the plan that I currently have will no longer be offered.  Hmmmm.....  That means that everything is up in the air.  Our employer explained that since we have Obama Care now that we will no longer be able to have the type of benefits or insurance that we previously have enjoyed.     Nice huh?  Now we will pay more, get less, and fund someone elses benefits.  Sorry if I offend anyone, but hey, this is my blog -- so I can say what I really think -- right?

November 1st is my last appointment.  On that day my surgeons office will submit my last paperwork.  They have 30 days to approve or deny.  That puts us at December 1st.  Then you have to schedule a surgical consult and that is when they set the date.  Well considering that most people only work two weeks in December, that puts a crimp into trying to get it done in this calendar year.    So being the control freak that I really am, I called the surgeons office and pleaded with the scheduler to talk with Dr. Dyer to see if he would save a date for me in December.  I pulled all the stops -- explained how I was approved and was pregnant five days before surgery, traded in on my mom-in-laws name (she knows Dr. Dyer), and basically said this was do or die (not really the best choice of words, but hey, I was trying)  -- She agreed to talk with Dr. Dyer on my behalf.   

Tonight I am going to drink a beer, smoke a cig, and have a couple of Oreos.  I know, I know, --- I am not suppose to say things like that -- but it's the truth.  Well, I better go.  The DH is needing to study and wants me to watch the kiddo.  Keep losing and God Bless you.
