Here I go!!!
Sep 01, 2011
Ok, so I had surgery on July 18, 2011... I figured it was time to start writing about my experience. As of last Monday I have lost 32 lbs! This is alot, I do understand that. But it is hard for me to see a change in myself. I still see the fat girl, who will always be the fat girl I know it takes time and I am trying to occupy my time by maintaining a walking regimen. A co worker of mine also had the surgery a few months before me and we have been walking the parking deck twice a day!!!! If we walk up and down, that is a mile... it feels awesome when we are done, the feeling of accomplishment is fantastic!I am a born pessimist, I know this... I think of all the things that can go wrong and then just expect for them to happen. I can't help it! Let's just hope that I don't let this get in my way of being successful. I have a very busy life and hope to get on here at least every Monday, which is the day I plan to weigh myself every week! I am looking for new friends who have been through this process or going through this process, to share in the constant need to help each other in this struggle!
