Thank you for taking my call on Saturday. I was so very excited and worried about my surgery date, and just needed to hear a real-live person say they'd been through surgery with this guy and that they did OK. You helped alot. Thank you. By the way, yesterday, I broke the news to my parents, and although my mother insists on going with me, they don't approve of the decision I'd made. In the past, I was always willing to take their advice and have made decisions (some, very important) based on their suggestions, but this time, I held firm and true to my convictions. I just wanted to say I'm so proud of myself. Such a shame - 31 years old and I still worry about my parents' opinions. Well, it was almost as if I grew up a little yesterday. Oops, got a little long-winded there. Anyway, I just wanted you to know I appreciated your taking the time to answer my questions. Thanks again, --Deana

Latrisha, I just read your post today, don't feel bad. everyones post is messing up. I gave up. Sunday I tryed 3 or 4 times and only one came out right. I wish they fix it.It almost doesn't feel the same coming here.

Latrisha, I just wanted to say that I have been following your journey through the process, and I must say, that I am impressed with the treatment you received in Mexico. So impressed, that I am seriously contemplating cancelling my apt with Dr. Gibbs in Little Rock and contacting Dr. Aguirre. My current BMI is considerably higher than yours, and that's where my hesitation comes from. However, I do want to say, that I am very happy for success and hope that you continue your journey "on the losing side" Best wishes...Gina McCarthy

Latrisha~ Thanks so much for sharing your experience with WLS and Mexico. Your story inspired so much confidence in me that if I end up having to self pay I will def. look into your Dr!! Tell your husband I think he's the sweetest guy (next to my wonderful hubby!), not just for giving up his toy but for being so supportive of you doing something that is going to make you so happy. Hi Everyone, Thanks for all of your e-mails!!!!!!! I'am now 9 days post-op and have been getting alot of e-mails from people wanting to know how everything went with Dr.Aguirre in Ensenada,Mexico. So I wanted to post that I have finished up-dating my profile in very detailed information from the begining to end of my stay in Mexico. I'am feeling wonderful and have not had to take any pain meds since the morning of the 3rd day in the hospital, and have lost 10lbs so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone again and a GREAT BIG ((((((HUG)))))))))) to you all!!
