It Begins

I went for the informational session on 4/22/10.  I liked the doctor and what he had to say, so I signed up for the first clinic appointment.  That is going to be May 3rd.  Today I called and made my 1st psych appointment. That is also going to be on the 3rd!  The ride has begun! 
Today I have been doing as much research as I can on lapband and RNY.  When I first decided to go for this I was set on lapband but now I think I am leaning towards RNY. 
I have told my girls and altho Sarah doesnt think I need the surgery she will support me in my decision.  Mom, is mom.  She didnt really say much, but after all the failed diets and such she may be as frustrated as I am with my weight loss.  I have told a couple friends and they say they will be there for me, time will tell!
Looking forward to Monday and I can begin the 6 months of supervised dietician visits.  As far as I can see that will be the biggest hurdle to the surgery.  Ive decided to do this and want it done now, not in 6 months! lol  But I have waited this long and hopefully it will go fast.
