canceled RNY surgery

I was scheduled for RNY surgery for tomorrow morning but I had a major pre-op freak out. I had not researched the DS since my surgeon did not offer it as an option for me. I stayed up two nights frantically researching to correct my error, but just got more stressed out and sleep deprived. I felt wonderful once I canceled my surgery and slept. I have an appointment with a DS surgeon on Thursday (my surgeon does not do DS thus did not mention it) So far I like what I have read on the DS. I am so glad my subconscious was looking out for me. I feel so stupid.
