Well I have been over weight since birth, I was a 10 lb. baby. I have always been the biggest one out of my friends. High school was when I really started getting bigger and bigger. After my second child it just got worse. By age 38 I was at my highest weight of 340. When I went to my informational meeting for this surgery I was 328 after my six month waiting period for insurance approval I was 321. My doctor gave me a date and eight days of opti-fast and on surgery day I was 306. Wow! I just thank God for this whole journey.
