So I had my surgery Monday.  I was so nervous going in my hubby took some awful pictures of me in my hospital gown and all the stuff they make you wear.  The pain was not nearly as bad as I imagined.  When I woke up in recovery I felt like a baby elephant was sitting on my chest but it was more uncomfortable then painful.  I don't normally take pain medication so what they gave me in the hospital knocked me out.  I was only in there 2 nights.  The day I was leaving they switched me to pills and I couldn't really take them they had me drooling lol.  So I have only been taking Tylenol since I came home. 

Pureed food is not my favorite but I keep reminding myself it will only be 3 more weeks.   Getting my water in has been the hardest I feel like I always have something I am supposed to be doing.

Hello everyone, I am a 28 year old mother and wife.  I  work full time, go to school part time and chase after my 3 year old.  I feel like I am always running. 

I am hoping to have RNY some time this year.  I love my family and they are being very supportive.  My husband is even considering having the surgery.  I am in the process of getting all of my paperwork and appointments taken care of.  My surgeon's office is absolutley awsome, everyone is so supportive and they answer all of my questions.  I am sure they hear the same one's all day long.

My best friend, my only friend on here so far  recommended that I join the site for even more support.  I really like the message boards, they give you a lot of useful information.
