 I am so over it all!  

My leg infection is healing but I have a wound that is 3 inches deep,  6 inches wide and 3 inches long.

I have a wound vac attached to my leg that gets changed every three days by a nurse that comes to my home. I have to go to wound care once a week.

If my infection isn't cleared up, I might not have my surgery on my new date of November 10th! Then even if the infection is cleared up and I still have the wound vac,  they might not allow it on my leg for the surgery. 

The wound care nurse told me it might take 2 - 3 months to heal!  

I am so not wanting to start this process all over. If the new year rolls over, I start my insurance payments all over as far as deductibles!  So before December 31st, this has to be done. 

So all I can do now is pray for healing and that God works in my favor. 

Pray or send good vibes my way!  I need all the help I can get! 

My leg infection is not healing properly. In went to the wound care clinic on Wednesday. They wrapped my leg up and use honey med on it.

On Saturday, my leg opened up. It seeped through the wrapamd soaked it with blood. 

I went to the ER. The antibiotics weren't working so they gave me IV antibiotics. 

My leg is retaining fluid.  

They are letting it drain. 

I should be here two days.

I keep hearing people failing on the sleeve. That worries me. A few people told me I shold just get the gastric bypass. I don't want that. I am afraid of failing at this! 

So on September 10th, I had an accident in which my leg was run over by my car. As a precaution they put me on antibiotics because they wanted to prevent infection. Well, those meds DID NOT work! My leg is infected! I have an open wound and I have to go to a wound care clinic. My doctor said the E.R. shoud have given me MUCH stronger meds! 

She prescribed stronger meds and I am being treated. I shoud be better in two weeks but as a precaution, I rescheduled it. I know they won't work on an infected person so I didn't wan't tobe disappointed by a no.

I am in good spirits, despite my wrecked car and God is still showing me favor.

My new surgery date is October 27th, 2016.

Also, I do NOT owe the $1500.00 until AFTER my surgery! That was a blessing! I am so happy about that.

I am so annoyed. I was hit with the surgeon's fee but I got that covered. Now they are saying I have a fee of 1500.00 due on the day of my surgery.

Unfortunately,  I'm not made of money.

If they can't put me on a payment plan, I may have to push my surgery date back to some time before the New Year. That's three months and I am NOT a happy camper! 

I will keep posting updates. Pray I can work it out,  please. 

I am excited! I am scheduled for October 13, 2016! I am nervous, elated and everything in between! I can go sooner but my support system will not be here until then. I am so happy!

I did my sleep study and saw my surgeons last week!  I am waiting patiently now. I had an accident and my leg was run over by my car. Not fun! It's swollen and black and blue! My car is drivable but wrecked and needs body work. 

The only thing that will lift these spirits is my surgery date!

I will be back from vacation and have my sleep study done BEFORE they close on the 19th of August. Unfortunately, they don't have enough patiens for THAT office to remain open but they are still going to submit the documents and I will just have to go to the other office. I t sucks becsuse people re out ofjobs and they are SO nice and caring!  I am still excited. No nerves yet. I will keep you all posted!

I had my last appointment on June 30th. All they are waiting for is for me to have my sleep apnea test done and we are looking at around September, October or November. I am excited and nervous. I don't think I will rest easy until I get my surgery date. I have to come out of pocket for the sleep apnea test and I am not a happy camper but I will do what I have to.

This past Friday, I had my cardiology appointment. I had to have EKG done and a scan on a monitor of my heart (I am sure it has a correct term but it was like a sonogram of my heart), and a stress test on a treadmill. I passed it all but she said I should be able to go longer when working out. I was thinking, "Ma'am, with all due respect, I know this, cut me some slack! I have had a lot of issues hindering my workout. Hence, me going for the surgery to lose weight and gain my more of my mobility back." However, I just said, "I agree.". What would be the point in explaining? She doesn't know my struggle. I just let it rock.

I was just glad I have a heart in good condition. After seeing how Kimbo Slice, who was someone I loved to watch fight, he was a Miamian/Floridian like myself and the SAME AGE, die, I am grateful. 

I could have discovered I needed a heart transplant last minute and been fighting for MY life!
