Geary Community Hospital

"When I first chose to travel 4 1/2 hours away from home to have my RNY, I was concerned about many issues, they put my fears to rest quickly!! They were wonderful to my husband and family, and even when my family had to come home the nurses would call home for me so I could talk to them. My local hospital would never do anything like that. I would reccomend Geary Community Hospital to anyone that is thinking of having the surgery!! A great group of well trained people!! I consider many of them my angels to this day!!"

Charles S. Bollman

"I knew from my first visit with Dr. Bollman that he was exactly the type of surgeon I wanted to do my RNY! Dr. Bollman is very soft spoken, polite, and very informative. He makes you feel like you are human, not just someone who will be paying him money. The day of my pre-op testing, he greeted me with a smile, and reassured me about the test he was getting ready to perform. The day of my surgery he was absolutely wonderful!!! I ended up in ICU for 5 days instead of 1, and when I questioned not only Dr. Bollman, but the ICU nurses they reassured me that Dr. Bollman only wants the best possible care for his patients and that as soon as he felt absolutely comfortable moving me out to the floor he would do so. Believe me, that did make me feel so much better. Aftercare is very important to Dr. Bollman!! I live 4 1/2 hours away from Junction City, his office called me daily to check on me. When I did start having a problem Dr. Bollman instructed me to go to my local ER. He worked with them via phone and fax. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Dr. Bollman and his staff at a 10 plus!!! I would reccomend him to anyone!!rnIn my opinion both surgical competence, and bedside manner are of great importantance and Dr. Bollman is wonderful in both areas!!"
