6 Month Surgiversary

Today is the official 6 month day where finally I can say progress is real and it's happening! I had my gastric sleeve surgery on Aug. 4, 2010. Today I am 133lbs lighter and headed in the right direction on what i am sure to be an overall long journey with many bumps and bruises to come. I'm enjoying being lighter on my feet on the dance floor (swingout), i'm enjoying being able to go to the store and buy a pack of underwear for $4.99 instead of $499.59 at the big and tall store. Im enjoying fitting comfortably in my wife's car with the seatbelt on easily, I'm enjoying the love and support of my family and close friends each and every day. As one who started out larger than most in this journey, I know my road is long, howerver, just one step, one day at a time. Now, we shoot for another minus 100!!!
