I went to another set of appointments toward wls. I saw the nurtitionist and the social worker. Both were very positive about successful surgery for me. I am down another 25lbs (yeah). I hope to have surgery the middle of september.

I have been here before. Need more tests to see if surgery is even possible. I have had a prior surgery that involves the same area of the intestine that the doctors need to do the wls. More tests and more medical records to review and then we will see. For now I will continue to make the life changes necessary for life after surgery.

Tomorrow I meet the surgeon for the first time (at this clinic). I attended an informational session last week and found this program to be the one I have been looking for. I have had previous surgeries that make my case more difficult than most so I look forward to someone who has experience in cases like mine and will not pass me off to another doctor and long long waiting list.
