I have struggled with my weight for a long time. It has been a struggle for many of my family members. My father died when he was 45 from obesity related issues. I want to be healthy so I can live a longer and higher quality of life. I want to enjoy going outside and playing with my kids. I had lap-band in 2005 and failed with it. I have lived with shame about that. My health has gone downhill since 2005. I have high cholesterol, hypertension, sleep apnea and diabetes. I am so glad that I am getting a second chance at having RNY on February 9, 2009! I am looking forward to a new life ahead of me. I am ready to shock myself and do things I haven't been able to do in years! I am looking forward to sleeping without a C-Pap machine. I am looking forward to getting off of my meds and my health improving. I want to ride rollercoasters and ride on airplanes without needing seatbelt extensions. I want to play baseball with my kids and enjoying life outside. I am looking forward to not getting short of breath by just walking down the driveway to check the mail. I am looking forward to being a better employee. I am looking forward to having lots of great SEX!!!! YES, SEX!!!
