Six month surgeversery

I can't believe it has already been six months since my surgery. I'm down a little over 50 pounds and feel wonderful. I've gone from a size 20 jeans to a 14 and from a 3X top to XL. I can stand to iron for longer than 15 minutes, and can actually stoop and bend while doing yard work. I think my garden will look prettier this year then it has in a few years past since I can actually do some weeding.As any of you know, who have read my previous blogs, my weight loss is very slow compared to many. I think this has a lot to do with my age and having less than 100 lbs. to lose. But I celebrate each pound gone and feel so happy that it continues to come off. I am healthier and feel better than I have in years.
This surgery has been a life saver/restorer and I am so happy that I have had the opportunity to experience it.
