In my younger years I never had a clue what it was like to have a weight problem.  Then, I got pregnant.  I gained 65 pounds.  I did lose it over time, and gained it, and lost it and gained it again....of course each time gaining more and more.  Not an unusual story I understand.

I have done Weight Watcher, Weight Loss Clinic, and numerous other "diets"  Although Weight Watchers was the best for healthy eating, I still gained back all I lost...plus more....

I'm tired of the yo yos....I know that having WLS will be a lifetime committment, but I'm ready.  I'm not wanting a "quick fix" so have no problem with the year or so wait to have this done.  I'm willing to go the route of the modules and all the other appointments this process may have.

I am currently 54 years old and want to be healthy for the remainder of my years.  There is so much I want to do, but I need to be healthy to be able to do most of them.

This will be a journal of my journey.
