I,am 50 years old, and I,m happly married with 3 grow childern,6 wonderful blessed grand babies. My starting weight is 255, I have been over weight most of my life.I"ve got type 2 diabetes,high blood pressure,gerds,just to mention a few.I've been appoved for surgery,now I,m waiting for an appointment,any day!! I,ll have to travel a little,but I,m getting my surgery choice!!( duodental switch ).I know I can live some what normal,eat low carbs diet, and yes be able to still eat with my husband. About 98% don,t gain back their weight,now thats what I,m talkin about!!!! I seen to many Rny and lap bands on the revision board.And puking,stomas,ulsers, cramping,dumping, not for me!!!! The gastric sleeve was interesting,if I was going part of the way I well go the whole way,I was just not interested in two surgeries,when I can do one!!!! And that some of my research, and how I made my decision,I want back my health, and a quality of life to go with it!!!
