Had surgery in Omaha Nebraska /Dec.24th 09

 I flew from Nashville Tn. to Omaha Ne. on Dec. 22rd,09.On theDec  23, I met with the nurse,went over surgical plans,and got a lot of protein samples.  Dec 24th 09,early in the morning(6 am)I was prep for surgery.   I was switched, the surgery went well.  At first It was very difficult, to eat and drink.  I hated protein shakes,so I ate baby food meat for my protein. I walked a lot in the hospital, I didn,t stay in bed much. I got real depressed,after surgery,  On  Dec 31,09 I was discharged to the Ramada Inn. the next day (New Years) I flew home. Nothing was better than returning home. It took a few days of taking my regular meds and the depression cleared up. I started walking on the treadmill, 30 minutes a day,I bump my speed up every other day or two. I still eat very small amounts,about a tbp full.   I wonder if this gets better, with eating and drinking !One nice thing I do (not) feel hungary,at all,thank god !
