My story - well....same as you..... weight wrecks havoc on everything from health to self esteem. My parents both suffer from Diabetes and my Dad is losing his sight due to it and my Mom has mobility problems thanks to it. So, I know that it's not a matter of if, but when and decided that at 44 I better decide how I want to live my golden years. So, I made the decision to change my life: First I decided to finish my degree, then to have this surgery, to stop smoking, and to stop living in fear of the future. So, here I am in the cusp of a new chapter in my life where decisions are made with eyes wide open!
