Day 4 ...liq diet

Today starts day four of the liquid diet. Its not as bad as I thought it would be. I seem to be doing great on it. Now, who's to go say I will feel this way next week but I have faith I will make it. I am glad to have some friends on this site who are having the wls near my date. Hope you all are doing well on your liq diet!

First Day of Protein Diet

Today is my first day of the liquid diet. I think I will do ok, my only concern is I haven't found a protein powder yet. I am using slimfast low carb and carnation instant breakfast. I need to get 60/80 grams of protein in a day. I can have soups and sugar free jello, puddings and ice pops. I can't believe in two weeks I will start my new journey in life.

I waited until I calmed down and called my dad's Dr Smith and they were so kind to give me an apt the very next morning. He looked at all of my tests and ordered a stress test for me the very same morning. I am happy to say he gave me the clearance I needed so everything is still on for May 22. I have to start the liq diet May 14th. I am counting the days and can't wait to have it over and be back home. God willing!

Today didn't go as well as I had hoped for. I do have a tentitive date for May 22 but here is the clinker....two yrs ago my family dr gave me a EKG and it showed something wrong like I may have had a silent heart attack. I then had to go and have a echo cardio test and it came back normal. Well my EKG that I had in Feb showed the same thing so I had another Echo Cardio this Feb and the results came back normal. But my surgeon wants me to go to a cardo specialist and get his ok for the surgery. If I don't get a apt within the next 2 weeks I lose the date. I was so pumped when I went in and held back all the tears until I got out in our car and flooded my poor husband. I know I should be looking for the good, I usually an up person but this has me so upset. I guess its just not understanding what is going on with my heart and if surgery will be oked..
