I have NO complaints!

All kinda folks were there!

Post-op . . Pre-Op . .  Sleeve, Dis and Dat. . .  it was WAAAAAAAAAY COOL!

I met this one brother, who was VERY supportive. . . he was at a 6XL before the operation, and now he is down to an XL!

I also got this neat App for my iPad and Motorola Razr Maxx. . .    It's call "MyFitnessPal" . .  If you dont have it. . . GO GET IT!  It saves a lot of time with journaling your food, exercise, protein, calories, etc., etc.

I didnt know what to expect . . .

However, by the time the third person got up and said, "Hi!  my name is Unfoofoo, and I am a compulsive overeater", I wanted to bash my own *BLEEP* head into the wall . . .

I felt like Pookie!  Hi . . . my name is Pookster. . . and crack is my baby!

Da hail ?!?!?!

Oh well, Imma go again this upcoming weekend. . . .

 Actually spent 15 minutes on my exercise bike!  

Had a visit with the B.B.M.H.S.F.H. (B@stard Behavioral Mental Health Specialist From Hell). . . .

B.B.M.H.S.F.H:  So Ken . . .still reading the book?

Ken:  Yes. . . still don't apply to me though . . .

B.B.M.H.S.F.H:  What about the chapter on Spirituality / Wholeness / Health?  Doesn't the Bible say something about your body being a temple?

** CRICKETS **

Ken (Thinking):  She got me. . . I'm cornered. . . .

** SIGH ** I will finish reading the book . . . .

B@stard  Behavioral Mental Health Specialist (BBMHS) . . .

Well, after telling her that I don't eat because:

(1)  One of my Father's friends molested me . . .
(2)  My Mother didn't stop breastfeeding me too early, nor pimped me out for groceries . . .
(3)  When Mary Jane Rottencrotch broke up with me, I was sooooooo distraught, that I put on the fat . . .
(4)  nor am I mad at Jesus because He force fed me, while conducting the miracle of the fish and barley loaves. . .

I am overweight, big boned, juicy, Big Poppa, fat, Big Man because. . .

" I LOVE GOOD FOOD" !

I told her, that I have to reprogram my brain to:

(1)  Cook and Eat Healthier . . .
(2)  Exercise DAILY . . . .
(3)  Learn to connect healthy living with a healty spiritual center . . .

. . . And would you believe, she was VERY happy that I came to this conclusion!

Her advice on the book I am reading:  Treat it like fried catfish . . . eat the meat. . . spit out the bones!

~Just Me . . .

I am down 10 pounds since the last visit (2 weeks ago)! 

She told me I need to incorporate more carbs . . . . and that I need to start practicing chewing my food 25 - 30 times. . .

Well, I drove 35 miles to attend my first Bariatric Support Group Meeting (Kaiser wants you to attend 9,000,000,000 of em), only to find out that the class was canceled . . .

* sigh *

I am still motivated. . . . "By any means necessary"!

 Didn't realize how much weight I've gained!  My knees hurt like "heaven"!  I am sooooooo happy I've decided to have this surgery!  Gunna go with the sleeve!

Lemmie see. . .

Gout, Hypertension, Sleep Apnea, Osteoarthritis of the Knee (Um. . . Arthritis. . . and it hurts), Pre-Diebetic, BMI greater than 40 . . .

I JUST got married!  This is my lovely wife's first marriage, and I am NOT going to make her a widow!

I have 1 son, 2 daughters, and 2 grandchildren. . .  I need to be around for them.

Not much to blog today. . .  but I am sure this will change in a few weeks!
