My first 5K

I did my first 5K this morning. I did the run for the cure here in Windsor. I can't really say how long it took me since I ended up early in the walk needing to go to the bathroom as my IBS was acting up. I finished it, I figure in roughly 1.5 hrs. I was on the kids school team which took first place in the most monies raised. I had a good time, am sore as my knee still is not right but I finished it. I did a 1K walk in 2007 and barely made it and a short 2 years later I am walking 5K. I am hoping to run it next year. some of the volunteers suggested I take a short cut but I figure if my Auntie Do can fight breast cancer I could walk 5K. I hope GOD heals Auntie Do soon.Love Ya
