Okay, how ridiculous is it to be excited about pantyhose? I wanted to wear a dress to work but my last pair of hose from Catherine's had finally given into runs. I ran over there last night only to find I was 15 minutes too late. I then went to the grocery store but they didn't have anything that would fit. I refused to go to the Lane Bryant in my town as they only sell Spanx anymore and I am NOT paying $25 for a single pair of pantyhose. As a last ditch effort I went to K-mart. They had hose in a size "3X".Sizes mean different things to different clothing manufacturers. I ordered a roomy 3X from Old Navy's plus-sized webpages. I couldn't fit comfortably into a 3X from DEB. I could just wear a 3X from Target. In the case of these pantyhose a 3X is 5'6" to 6' and anywhere from 255 lbs to 295 lbs. I was keeping my fingers crossed.
They fit!
I no longer have to depend on plus-sized clothing stores for something as simple as pantyhose. Adain, maybe it's the silliest thing to get excited about but I just couldn't help myself from feeling giddy.
