 Starting to get a little nervous.  Tuesday is my appointment with the surgeon.

 I put off having WLS  because I thought it was just to difficult. I have done a lot of reading  about dumping getting food stuck, vomiting, and food intolerances, taking  small bites, chewing food to mush....yuk!!  I have also been told of the hell you go through with optifast ( a necessity......they say ).  The years of trying one diet after the other, losing and regaining weight is not working.  WLS can not be any tougher than what I have been through previously.

 Seeing Dr. Reed on August 30th......hopefully I will get a date.

 May surgeons appointment for tomorrow is cancelled.  No rescheduled date yet.

 Date with the surgeon May 12th.  I am getting closer to D day.

Today I saw the last of my specialists.  Now waiting for an appointment with surgeon.  I am really getting excited and can hardly wait for a date.

Today I had my 2nd appointment with the nurse, dietican and social worker.  I am waiting for 2 reports to come in from other specialists and then it is off to see the surgeon.  I have no idea when I will be schedule for surgery at this point.  I am on the journey to greater physical and mental health,. " LOVE DREAM BELIEVE"

I am new to the group and am wondering if there is anyone from Guelph and area here.  I am just beginning the process of having this surgery and would like to talk to anyone that can give there ideas and stories.
