Hello Sunny, I had my surgery on July 9th and have lost 36lbs. I still feel a bit achy and at times I get the dry heaves. I am very happy that I had the surgery and I would do it all over again. I just wanted to see how you was doing and to wish you all the best

re: broccili & cheese soup I saw your post. I had open rny 6/20/02 at the bariatric treatment center in michigan. Per the nutritionist, after you move to the full liquid stage you may have any soup you wish, as long as it is strained through a fine mesh collander. The only soup you are not allowed is tomato soup-they add high fructose corn syrup to it. I am on pureed foods now and I am allowed cheese as long as it is smooth and blended. Good luck to you!

I'm Home!!! I had open RNY on Monday. Everything went well, I have some pain, but so glad that i'm home. Thank you Lewis Young for calling and thank you to everyone who posted to my page. Will update more later....
