Just looking for support.....

My mom has had 5 falls since August 7th, 2 hospitalizations, 1 rehab admit and 2 nursing home admits.  She is right now in her 2nd nursing home since August 7th.  Here I am on my way to recovery and my mom's dementia hasn't even permitted her to realize that I am doing well but thankfully she also didn't know that I nearly died in June.  I am just wondering if others on here are fighting other stressors (like who isn't?) while trying to deal with the stress of a new lifestyle and weight change?

BTW, my mom is 1100 miles away from me so this is really tough.
