9 weeks post op

Not much to say.  Last week I gained weight again (1.4lbs) and this week I have lost all, but 4oz that I regained.  I am retaining water like crazy.  My legs felt so heavy that it woke me up two nights ago.  I am trying to cut back on the salt and drink more water to see if that helps; if not I will call the doctor’s office Monday.  I am not exercising like I should, but I am just all-round doing more than before surgery.

I am frustrated with my weight loss or lack thereof…but I keep plugging away at what I know is right to do.  I don’t cheat with foods I shouldn’t eat or sneak in extra carbs.  I get about my 90 protein in a day and get close to my water most of the time.  I figure everybody says my body will eventually catch up and I will start losing, so I am trying to be patient.     

Most of the posts I read are people losing weight quickly.  I wonder how many struggle with it like I seem too?  I would lose weight faster than this when I would crash diet before surgery.  Of course, I would also gain it back plus more.  Hence, I will continue to believe what the experts say and wait until my body kicks in and starts losing this weight.
