Question:
I would like any info on Dr. LePort in CA

I would love to hear from anyone who has gone with Dr. Peter C. LePort in CA. I'm looking into having my surgery done by him and I have an appointment with him soon.He looks great on paper, but I would like to have some personal view points as well. I had Rny with Dr. LePort on Feb 13th he also removed my gallbladder at the same time. Please look at my profile for more information. I was back to work in 13 days, no complications. My surgery was performed at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, they gave me great care. The best thing about his style is that he didn't use staples to close the wound nor a ng tube.

Actually this doctor IS in the database of this site. Go to the top of any page and click on "find a doc" and then click on #2 "browse the list". Next, click on California and you will get a list of surgeons in this state. Dr. Leport is the first one listed. If you click on "view comments" you will first see insurance companies that have paid for his services. Next you will see a section for patient comments. I find this very interesting. Included with the comments is the patient name (and link to their profile) and their e-mail address. Maybe you could e-mail them your specific questions. Hope this helps. Shelley

Hi Heather My surgeon was Dr. Ali, he is from the same group as Dr. LePort. He was trained by Dr. LePort. I had zero complications, minimal pain, in fact I was off the pain meds after 3 days. dr leport is great! just beware of the office, its always busy, sometimes you'll wait over an hour just to see him. but other than that, he'll take care of you
